Most areas of the face and body can be treated with collagen stimulating injections. Some areas respond better than others; this is where the expertise of the doctor and trained professionals at Samara Aesthetics can determine the best treatment option for the patient.
Common areas treated are:
First, the area is cleansed with antiseptic, then numbed with anaesthetic. The product is injected using a cannula or fine needle. After your collagen bio-stimulator treatment, the patient must massage the area for 4 to 5 days. For best results, the treatment is repeated after 2 to 3 months.
Once both treatments are completed, the results generally tend to last between 2-3 years. The process can take several weeks or even months to see the effect and is not immediate.
There is a possibility of nodule formation, particularly if the area is not massaged regularly after treatment.

Immediately after your treatment, you may experience some generalised tenderness and discomfort. This can be alleviated by a cool compress and paracetamol. You can reduce the chance of bruising by avoiding blood-thinning medications and alcohol. Your practitioner will discuss your after-care protocol at length during your initial consultation.
Avoid heat-inducing activities, sun exposure and wearing make-up for 24 hours after treatment.
